The Duke's Head, Brockham

The Duke's Head lies in the north-east corner of Brockham Green. It overlooks the Village Green and the dominant Christ Church.

The pub was rebuilt in about 1870 after a fire destroyed the original building. A village inn has existed on the site since at least 1711.

Although there is only one bar, there are several distinct areas coming off it including an attractive restaurant which has walls stripped back to the brick. A large number of jugs hang from the beams.
