There has been marked improvement to the situation
outside Brockham School and I thank you for your co-operation.
However there are still those who do not/will not comply with
my request. It should always be borne in mind that the safety
of all is paramount at all times please.
Blonde
woman calls at homes
We
have received several reports of a blonde haired female knocking
on doors in the area asking for money to get home or has locked
herself out and needs money to get to Epsom and such like.
This
is a ploy to get people to give her money and anyone who
is approached by this female is asked not to give her money
and
report it to police on 0845 125 2222 straight away please.
She
knocks on peoples doors usually in the evenings but it
can and has occurred at any time.
Look
after your dogs
You
will have seen in the Dorking Advertiser recently that
there have been a number of dogs go missing in the area,
presumed stolen. We would therefore urge people to
keep dogs on a lead whilst out walking and not to let
them roam off. We advise that it is an offence to not
be in proper control of a dog particularly if it goes
onto attack or distress anyone or livestock.
Car
Parks targeted
by thieves
People
are urged not to hide valuables in cars that are
left in car parks in
the area. Most criminals watch
where you hide your belongings and therefore this makes
the whole process of stealing the belongings simple.
Take them with you or leave them at home.
Vehicles in the area of Povey Cross roads have been
targeted with damages and thefts of vehicle parts. Anyone
with any information is requested to call PC Loraine
on 01306 676351.
Have
you been approached for tarmac business?
A white transit van with males touting for tarmac business
has been seen in the area of Brockham. The registration

to us immediately on 0845 125 2222.
