Damage to island in Tynedale Road
The
Parish Council are sending a letter to Arriva regarding the damage
to the island in Tynedale Road caused by buses.
It is
possible that a different solution is needed, such as an
alternative surface
at the top of the island to permit the buses some leeway
if there are cars obstructing their turn. It has also been noticed
that
some vehicles are parking on the island. Residents are reminded
that this is not a permitted parking area.
Icy footbridge
It was observed
that the footbridge did not get the same salting treatment as
the road during the recent icy weather.
A lady
did fall and hurt herself and we are consulting Mole Valley
to see
what provisions we can make to ensure a safe crossing.
